CBS All Access to Add Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Season 4 and Danger Mouse
New Children’s Programming Coming To CBS All Access, Including Exclusive Original Series New original series Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Danger Mouse are among the children’s shows coming to CBS All Access in 2019. For the young—and young at heart—CBS All Access has announced exclusive original children’s programming which will premiere later in 2019, along with a library including more than 1,000 episodes of children’s shows.
The digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service is making its first venture into children’s content, which will include the upcoming series premieres of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Danger Mouse, with more to be announced prior to launch.
The extended library will also launch with classics like Danger Mouse, Inspector Gadget, The Adventures of Paddington Bear, Madeline, and Heathcliff.
CBS All Access has teamed up with DHX Media and Boat Rocker Studios to license these original and classic shows.
“Based on the age and demographics of our subscriber base, with an average age of 44, we see a significant opportunity to invest in children’s programming and provide even more value for subscribers with new originals and a world-class library of programming, specifically catered to our subscribers’ children,” said Marc DeBevoise, President and COO of CBS Interactive.
The move into children’s programming further diversifies the CBS All Access lineup of exclusive original series, including The Good Fight, The Twilight Zone, No Activity, Strange Angel, and Tell Me A Story.
